Ground Rules

Like any competition, there are a few things to keep in mind.

  • The video should be captured in well-lit conditions.
  • Clearly capture the skill you have acquired. Stablise your phone or camera before capturing.
  • Include an introduction of yourself.
  • You can present the content in English or a language of your choice.
  • Avoid harsh lighting or backlighting that makes your face appear dark.
  • Ensure minimal background noise.
  • Keep the background clean and uncluttered.
  • Speak clearly and confidently. Maintain eye contact with the lens, not the screen.
  • Do a test shot first. Record a short test clip to check for audio, lighting, and framing before recording the final version.
