Unless the context otherwise requires, any capitalised terms used herein but not defined shall have the same meaning as ascribed to such term in the general 'Terms and Conditions' (accessible at: www.rfskillingacademy.com/terms-conditions) of the Reliance Foundation ("RF") Skilling Academy ("Terms").

It is hereby clarified that in addition to these terms of use (“SD Terms”), the user shall also abide by the Terms at all times. In the event of any conflict between the general Terms and SD Terms, the SD Terms shall prevail, as the SD Terms specifically govern the access and use of the 'Skill Development Module' of the Portal offered through this Site.

Registration and accounts

Courses and certifications delivered through RF are free of cost to the users. However, visitors must first register for a personal account to fully participate in the website's activities.
Users of the skill development platform must be over 13 years of age. In the event this skill development platform is being accessed for the benefit of a minor, you expressly confirm that you are legally competent and authorised to provide consent on behalf of such a minor and the minor's use of the Site and the Portal (including this skill development platform) shall be subject to the Terms and these SD Terms.
During registration, users must provide essential details including their name, email address. Users may also be asked to provide supplementary information such as their date of birth, location, educational and professional histories to enhance their learning experience. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that all information provided during registration remains accurate and up-to-date.
Users are required to maintain the confidentiality of their account, secure their account with a suitable password and not share it with any third parties.
Each user is permitted to have only one account on the platform. Multiple accounts are strictly prohibited.

Learning Content

RF is offering courses and certifications (“Content”) relating to skill development from numerous content providers, including RF itself (“Content Providers”) through this 'Skill Development Module'.
RF reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, reschedule, or modify any Content, or change the point value or weight of any assignment, quiz, or other assessment, either solely, or in accordance with Content Provider instructions, as the case may be.
Our services may enable users to share their content, such as homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assignments you submit with RF, instructors, and/or other users (“User Content”). Users are accountable for the content they create and share.
To the extent that you provide User Content, you grant RF a fully-transferable, royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works based on, publicly perform, publicly display, and otherwise use the User Content. [This license includes granting RF the right to authorize other content providers (“Content Providers”) to use User Content with their registered students, on-campus learners, or other learners independent of the Services.] Nothing in these Terms shall restrict other legal rights that RF may have to User Content.
RF reserves the right to remove or modify User Content for any reason, including User Content that we believe violates these SD Terms or other policies.
All logos, brands, marks, labels, names displayed on this site are properties either owned or used under license by RF.
Users may only use the Content on our platform for their personal purposes. Adapting or distributing content to others is not allowed without prior authorization from RF.
Your use of the Website and Online Content and Courses must not be unlawful, fraudulent, or damaging to RF or RF's institutional partners reputationally or financially.
RF or RF's 'Skill Development Module' does not grant academic credit for the completion of Content offerings, unless otherwise explicitly indicated by a credit-granting institution. RF, instructors, and the associated Content Providers have no obligation to have Content offerings recognized by any educational institution or accreditation organization.

Academic Integrity

Plagiarism, including copying or reproducing words, ideas, or materials without proper attribution, is strictly prohibited. Users must submit original work independently. Self-plagiarism, where learners submit previously submitted work without disclosure, is also prohibited unless expressly permitted.
Users must uphold academic integrity and refrain from engaging in cheating or sharing solutions to assignments or exams.
Users are obligated to report any instances of cheating or breaches of terms to their respect course administrators promptly.
Violation of the terms regarding account usage and academic integrity may lead to access restrictions or the discontinuation of participation in courses.

Security

Users must refrain from accessing data or attempting to log into servers or accounts that do not belong to them.
Sending unsolicited electronic mail, including promotions or advertisements, is strictly prohibited.
Visitors/ users may not use the website to transmit material that could constitute or encourage criminal offenses or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Visitors agree not to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security-related features of the Site.
Visitors/ users must comply with any features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of content, as well as any limitations imposed on the use of the website or access to online content and courses.
